The Jølster Millenium CD is now on sale (for 120,- in the shops) presenting just under 70 minutes of music and dialect poetry from artistes in Jølster kommune, Norway. Entitled "Tonevev", it features pop, rock, traditional solo and ensemble Hardanger violin and accordian recordings, choirs, youth bands, brass bands, childrens' and adults' gospel choirs as well as recordings of two of the church organs in the kommune. Most of the CD's 30 tracks were recorded digitally using a 24 bit 16 track Roland VS1680 recorder, 2 x Røde NT1, 2 x AKG C1000s and 2 x Shure SM58 microphones in various venues in and around Jølster. Most of the other tracks were recorded in a studio in Florø or the NRK Sogne og Fjordane studios in Førde.
